It arrived ahead of time and so far, according to the checks, it is legitimate. It comes with Arkos (updated from February) but I have already managed to install the June update. Great games, possible to add cheat codes and easy to install new games. I recommend changing the SD card to SanDisk Extreme 128GB.

An excellent console. An ultra-high-quality and bright screen. I chose the model with 20,000 games (you need to know that there are many duplicates because several times the same game in different languages, which naturally increases the number of games). I recommend this console in general; it recalls good times, very nostalgic. I have only tried the GB / GBC and the Megadrive for now. Everything works except sometimes a game crashes when opened even after turning off the console and restarting it. At that moment, opening another game fixes it and we can open the one we wanted originally. Last advice: save everything from the SD card on the computer or on another higher-quality French SD card.

Very much enjoyed this product the first time i bought it. Got one for my dad’s birthday now. He really enjoyed my one being able to play his games when he was a child. Price is justified and performance is amazing. Best thing to use if you don’t want to use a nintendo product that’ll scam you hundreds for emulated games.

No in the 80s, I was curious to see what games were available: well, almost all the hits of the time like Mario, Sonic, Bomberman, Street Fighter, but also King Of Fighters, fighting games like Final Fight, Streets of Rage 2, or even Punisher and Cadillacs & Dinosaurs. . . Some games crash and don’t launch. Even Mario 64 works perfectly. There are a lot of games and we might fear having to go through the entire catalog each time before finding the one we’re looking for. But in fact, there is an ingenious system of “Favorites” that creates a new directory allowing you to keep only what you consider the cream of the cream separate! Something else: the battery lasts well. Only one drawback; I couldn’t find how to save a game, so I have to start everything from scratch when I restart the console. The seller shipped on the same day I placed the order. The package arrived in perfect condition and took just under two weeks to reach my country. The R36S I bought elsewhere for about 2/3 of this price is cheap but it’s a fake, and the game I wanted to play is slow so I’m disappointed with the counterfeit. Even though it’s a fake, it’s cheap as a game console, but the real thing is incomparably better than a fake! -

Awesome console. Not heavy and feel good in hands. The only problem are start/select buttons being too loud but it’s ok. Almost everything is smooth and playable. Old emulators have more games than newer ones but you can add more games.

The r36s absolutely blew me away for the price it’s being sold at. It looks and feels premium and the screen is very high quality. Like others have said it’s recommended to switch the sd card(s) for better ones and so i did. Installing the operating system and the games on the new cards was fast and easy. Absolutely recommend the r36s if you’re into handheld gaming and old classics.

I’m super happy, opening it, turning it on, and putting the metal slug in, amazed at how good it looks, my first impression has been excellent, so far it’s a highly recommended purchase. I don’t know how it will perform with more demanding systems, but I only want it for Neo Geo and Arcade CPS, so far Neo Geo is amazing, and the screen is better than I expected.

Great system. Screen is bright and clear, sound is good, buttons are good, came with 18,111 games (although there seems to be a few duplicates but who really cares?) My boyfriend 3d printed me a grip case to put it into to make it more comfortable to use. Its makes a big difference. You can also just buy one on aliexpress for a few dollars. Anyway, lots of fun and would definitely recommend!

This is a console definitely worth getting if you want a good emulation experience for a fair price. All the games run very good except some lag with the n64 games but i can look past that. In conclusion if you want a good emulator for a good price that runs good retro classics then this may be for you.

Quite good for the price, now you can install LineageOS in parallel so you can have Android and ArkOS. Highly recommended. Here is a 3D printed controller that they also sell on Aliexpress and it helps a lot for playing for long hours.

Perfect, incredible quality, for games with a story like Zelda, it’s better to install the ROM in French because the files are in the USA version. Too bad the emulator for the Master System 1 is not installed by default.

R36S spectacular: powerful and perfect for retro gaming. A Samsung microSD is needed (I recommend buying a 128GB one on Amazon, price ranges from 20/30€ but it’s worth it) to copy system files and games from the PC. This way the console can perform at its best: startup and slowdowns are non-existent on some titles and games are almost always smooth.

Didn’t have high expectations as it’s a low priced item with a low end hardware (and only 1gb of ram), but daaaaaaaaamn, it’s so freaking good!
The screen quality is really amazing and the details are crisp, loaded with tons of games (can even play some 3d stuff), the interface looks really good and convenient, and the price is great! I’m seriously gonna buy 2-3 at that price to gift them to kids (it’s a bit small for adults hands imo, the hands start hurting if you play for 2h straight, but i love it anyway! ).
There’s no bluetooth/wifi inside, but it’s possible to buy a 5€ adapter to plug on the otg usb port (or solder it), and it works (but uses more battery!). Note that only some work, but some do not, so google online which one to buy.
Haven’t tried to plug it to a tv with a hdmi to usbc cable, but it’s really cool if it works!I have more expensive handheld consoles, and possibility to emulate on my computer or tv, but i would still 100% recommend it!

Great retro emulator machine at a good price. It comes with ArkOS 2.0 quite refined, although you can always install another system, add or remove games, or even optimize them to suit your taste, like adding shaders that simulate a CRT for example. Maybe the worst part is that if you don’t understand how to do it, you might need some instructions.

Very beautiful. I love it, it’s amazing. It comes ready to use and has games to keep you entertained. I love how it feels in my hands, maybe the A B Y Z buttons are a bit small but they’re not uncomfortable either and the joystick isn’t the best but in Street Fighter II almost all the Jadukens appear hehehe. It’s really amazing, I couldn’t imagine that for less than €20 you could have something so great. The screen looks super bright even on the street with the sun shining; you can play well and the sound is quite good, it’s loud and clear and doesn’t sound tinny. The pads are super soft, have an incredible touch, and are very well integrated into the console.

I was pleasantly surprised by the console.
The manufacturing quality is good. The screen is not perfect, but it more than meets the mark for any retro game. The processor has given me a slight lag at some point during gameplay, but nothing that prevents me from playing. I have read that the included memory card usually breaks easily, I have only used it for 2 days and it’s too early to evaluate it, so far it’s a great success!

This is a real r36s and not a clone. Crazy good price and fast shipping. If you get the wifi module for this, it makes it very easy to update arkos. Plays my favorite retro games nicely with a nice form factor and battery life. I highly recommend.

The buttons have excellent quality, there are plenty of games included – especially for retro fans, it’s unbelievably cool. The battery is rechargeable AND replaceable!! The LCD panel is also very, very good, even from different viewing angles. A protective film was also included for free, which has already prevented some scratches. A small tip to exit games without the reset button on the side: press SELECT + START twice.

I researched before buying and chose this store because they sell good quality models. . Here’s a tip: make a backup and replace the memory card with a quality one, as it’s the only thing that’s of low quality. . It is important to note that the manufacturer’s warranty seal sticker is located at the entrance of the memory card, so if you tear it off, you will likely lose the warranty.

Excellent, it looks original, the screen is really well made, shipping to Italy quite fast and recommended seller. You can run PSP, PS1. Some issues with Nintendo 64 but I think it’s due to the emulator which doesn’t run very well, however for GB GBA DS Mame etc games up to PS1 it’s perfect.

It came with 1GB of RAM and the ArkOS system in version 2.0, it even has a pack of ROMs in Portuguese for Super Nintendo. It arrived on time and with battery still.
I am from Brazil and I didn’t have it before, and for the price I got (160 reais), it’s more than worth the cost-benefit of the console. It really delivers what it promises and met all my expectations. -

I was able to test the item a bit, i was hoping for pokemon games but i think i might have to find those myself and side load them, but it’s definitely a lot of choices of games on there. Got it as a gift for my boyfriend, i hope to find pokemon games since he’s a huge pokemon fan. The screen is quite good, very bright and colorful.

Item as promised. Found an update on the R36S Wiki from the internet and installed it on a larger SD card (256 GB). Works just like before. Now even more games fit on the card. Great part.

Very good console, the first thing I did was change the SD card and install the updated system from GitHub, and when I did that it started running N64 games almost natively without any modifications.

I’m super happy with my purchase! It’s the real r36s console (2 chips), and mine even came with panel 4. They included a screen protector with wipes, a usb-a to usb-c cable, and instructions. I’ll probably grab more for my friends! Don’t mind the bubbles in the console pic, they’ll be gone in a couple days (that’s normal with screen protectors); i took off the protective film before the photo. It shipped to poland super fast and was really well protected. I also had no problems updating the console to latest release of arkos from aeolusux github following the official instructions.

Once again doing my social work for those who need it, Boyhom fulfilled what was described, it is Arkos 2.0, it passed all the tests, I put a Samsung card with the Arkos system in the PC’s Easyroms folder and it runs perfectly.

It’s amazing that it captures childhood memories in this small device. The picture quality is really good. You have to look up the operating instructions online; you need to hold the button for 6 seconds when turning it on. It’s light, smooth, and works well. There are a lot of old games, but the only worthwhile ones are the latest ones. Save up for the coffee money and definitely buy it.
