In specifications, it says it supports thickness 7mm to 9.5mm, so it might not be for every 2.5”disk
But chatgpt says that only 2.5″ hdd up to 2tb can be 7mm thickness. I guess you can leave the case open, in u have a4tb or 5tb disk, because the sata still gets connected

This one works amazingly well. Glad it is usb type-c performing remarkably well. I have tried to benchmark and you can see the results with an ssd. It also works on the phone with a cable type-c to type-c.

The RTL 9201 controller automatically goes to sleep after 10 minutes of inactivity, and the Kingston A400 SSD does not wake up until it is connected to another PC.
